Week 25: The Resident Is Likely To Be Canceled
The Resident is likely to be canceled. Its 2023 ratings were 110% of the Fox scripted average (++), but it received only a short 13 episode order (-). It’s in season 6 after which costs typically rise in a salary renegotiation (-), and it’s owned by Disney, so more episodes produced wouldn’t benefit Fox in the secondary market (-).
Now, the sets have been sold!
